SANS Advanced Forensics with Rob Lee in Orlando

Rob Lee and SANS were very gracious and allowed myself and one of our support/services consultants to come to last week's SANS event in Orlando, FL. As it would happen this was the first event where students received their new F-Response TACTICAL pair. Not expecting any issues we wanted to be onsite to assist if necessary, meet and greet some of the attendees, and to help kick off the relationship.

This event was a first for me personally. I have never attended a SANS training event and while I was not there for the entire session I had the opportunity to sit in on Rob's course and get a feel for his training method first hand.

Bottom line, I was quite impressed.

Rob's material provided an excellent overview and then proceeded to uncover the details and "gotcha's" often left unsaid in other training venues. I even got a look at the F-Response TACTICAL specific section and was very pleased with his treatment of the product.

All in all it was a very enjoyable experience and we look forward to working with Rob Lee and SANS in the future. For the complete schedule of events you can check the SANS website here.
