New IBM hardware arrives

We are big fans of eBay.
Where else can you get your hands on one of these beauties:
Yes, after much searching we were able to get our hands on an old enough IBM pSeries AIX server to get F-Response back ported to AIX 5.1. Based on conversations with IBM and our initial testing I believe we'll end up with binary compatibility with AIX 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, and 6.1 (All on the PowerPC Architecture).
I have to admit in climbing in and working with an AIX server again how well designed and clean the architecture is, sure like all things Unix there's plenty of moments where you are stucking thinking.. where is "xyz" on this platform.. but that's part of the magic of the unix/linux world.
An aside for those of you who have never seen one of these monsters up close and personal.. it has a small sticker on it that clearly indicates it's a "lifting hazard".. well at slightly over 100lbs I'd have to agree!
More on that platform support as we get confirmation. Current CE/EE customers that have a need for older AIX (5.1+) willing to try out the newest build let us know.
Thanks!
Warmest Regards,

PS - On a positive note the staff appears to be gathering around the server for warmth (3 power supplies will do that), as Florida experiences a wave a "stupid cold" weather.
