F-Response TACTICAL now part of the SANS Institute SIFT Advanced Tookit

February 2, 2011 – F-Response announces today that F-Response TACTICAL has been added to the SANS Institute Inc. ("SANS") "SIFT Advanced" which is provided to students registered for SANS Advanced Computer Forensic Analysis and Incident Response, Forensic 508 course.

F-Response (www.f-response.com) enables virtually any incident response, data recovery or forensics tool to be used over an IP network. It works by creating a network connection between the live subject machine and the examiner’s machine via raw (all sectors), physical, read-only access to the drives on the subject machine. Examiners can now conduct analysis of a subject computer over an IP network using their tools of choice.
