F-Response v8 - New Release, Cloud Updates, etc.

Jul 10, 2019

The Summer is already underway and we've got a new release for F-Response v8 on the website. This latest build includes the following updates and improvements:

Dropbox Collection

We've improved the Dropbox collection process to better handle large files and to stream content to the disk faster.

Google and all other Providers

We've modified the OAuth Callback model to no longer require access to the F-Response website for the "OAuth Helper," portion of the process. Starting in this release, F-Response will automatically redirect to a localhost bound service. This change comes at the request of cloud providers and should give us long term stability.

Accelerator

We corrected an issue with hostname vs IP based License Manager inputs for Accelerator.

Office 365 Client Credentials Flow

We modified the provided Powershell script and our website mission guide to cover Microsoft's new Client Credential Flow key generation process for Office 365. You will find the new script in our installation. Please note, existing credentials should be unaffected by this change.

You'll find these updates and more in the latest version of F-Response v8 on our website (EE, CE+C, CE, and TAC) here, as well as any updates to the Mission Guides on the Support and Mission Guides page of our website.

Thank you for all that you do to support F-Response. We hope you have a great Summer!

Update - Due to a UI error in 8.0.1.20, we have uploaded 8.0.1.21 to the website. This version includes all the updates to .20 as well as a fix to correct a display issue. I apologize for any confusion.

Warmest Regards,
