CEIC Updates

Aug 18, 2009

Yesterday was the first day of the CEIC conference, as expected we spent the majority of the day at our exhibit demonstrating F-Response for interested attendees.

I have to say I was tremendously impressed by the turn out, we had visits from some exeptional professionals in the Computer Forensics industry.

Andy Joyce - Andy stopped in at the booth to share more of the interesting this he's been doing with F-Response physical memory, again if you haven't checked out Andy's Facebook + F-Response materials you owe it to yourself to take a few minutes to read it.

Dave Kleiman - Dave dropped by to talk about F- Response, his training sessions, and some of the interesting stuff he'll be presenting in today's session. Dave's presenting on "Network Forensics" this morning, and if you are reading this post and at CEIC, Stop! and go to his session.

Troy Larson - Troy stopped by to talk about Microsoft's efforts with the WinFE environment and how we can interface better with Microsoft's technologies. Look for some updates and interesting features to come out of these conversations in the near term.

Mike Webber - Mike checked in to prepare for his Enterprise forensics class on Wednesday, F-Response Enterprise will be featured in that class. If you haven't received training from Mike or Lance (BitSec) you should, they are clearly experts at delivering solid training solutions.

All in all a very successful and exciting first day, thanks again to all who came out to see the technology and support us!

Thanks!

On to day two.

Warmest Regards,

M Shannon, Founder
